  1. Pour 1 Liter of beer into a medium saucepan
  2. Stir in the honey, cinnamon, cloves, and ginger
  3. Heat over low heat for 8 minutes while stirring
  4. Ensure the liquid stays below boiling to avoid bitterness
  5. Once steaming hot, strain the beer into mugs
  6. Garnish each mug with an orange slice and star anise
