Preparation

  1. Wash the oranges under cold water then cut them in half across the middle
  2. Use a manual or electric juicer to extract the liquid from the halves
  3. Strain the juice through a sieve to remove the fruit pulp if desired
  4. Pour the juice into tall glasses filled with a handful of clean ice
  5. Serve immediately while the juice is cold and the flavor is at its peak

  • Roll the oranges on the counter before cutting to help release more internal juice
