Preparation

  2. Drain the water and let the potatoes steam dry in the hot pot
  3. Add the butter and chopped dill to the pot and toss gently

  • Starting the potatoes in cold water ensures they cook evenly through
  • Use waxy potatoes like new potatoes to help them keep their shape
  • Adding the dill only at the end preserves its bright green color
