Recipe for Chicken and Cheese Quesadilla
A simple meal made with flour tortillas, cooked chicken, and melted cheese folded and toasted.

Ingredients
- 2 large flour tortillas
- 200 grams cooked chicken, shredded
- 150 grams cheddar cheese, shredded
- 30 milliliters vegetable oil
- 2 grams chili powder
Preparation
- Season the shredded chicken with chili powder in a small bowl
- Place one tortilla in a large pan over medium heat with a little oil
- Spread half the cheese and all the chicken over the surface
- Top with the remaining cheese and the second tortilla then press down
- Cook for three minutes per side until the cheese is completely melted
- Remove from the pan and slice into wedges before serving with salsa
Tips
- Use a mix of different cheeses to get both flavor and a good stretch
- Cook over medium heat to avoid burning the tortilla before the cheese melts
- Serve with a side of sour cream or guacamole for a cooler finish
