- 1 kilogram potatoes

Preparation
- Sauté the diced onion and garlic in oil then add cubed potatoes
- Pour in the vegetable stock and simmer for twenty minutes until soft
- Blend the soup until smooth then stir in the heavy cream and salt
Tips
- Reserve a few potato cubes before blending to add texture to soup
- Garnish with crispy bacon or fresh chives for a salty flavor contrast
