Dough
- 500 grams flour
- 300 milliliters warm water
- 7 grams dried yeast
- 5 grams salt
- 15 milliliters olive oil

- 200 milliliters tomato sauce
- 250 grams fresh mozzarella
- 10 grams fresh basil leaves
- 15 milliliters olive oil
Preparation
Dough
- Combine the flour, warm water, yeast, and salt then knead for ten minutes
- Place the dough in a bowl and let it rise for sixty minutes
Bake
- Shape the dough into rounds and add tomato sauce and mozzarella
- Bake at 250 Celsius for ten minutes and add fresh basil after cooking
Tips
- Use high protein flour to achieve a chewy and traditional pizza crust
- Drain the fresh mozzarella well to avoid a soggy center on the pizza
- Adding the basil after the oven preserves its color and fresh aroma
