Recipe for Pasta with American Meat Sauce

Pasta
- 400 grams spaghetti
- 3 Liters water
- 15 grams salt
Sauce
- 500 grams ground beef

- 5 grams dried oregano
- 30 milliliters olive oil
Preparation
Sauce
- Brown the ground beef in a large pot then remove the excess fat
- Sauté the onion and garlic in olive oil until they are soft
- Return the beef to the pot and stir in the tomato sauce and spices
- Simmer the meat sauce over low heat for forty minutes until it is thick
Pasta
- Boil the spaghetti in salted water until it reaches the desired level of softness
- Drain the pasta well and return it to the pot with a little oil
Finish
- Mix the pasta with the meat sauce or serve the sauce on top
- Garnish with a sprinkle of cheese and some fresh herbs before serving to guests
